Hello! I'm Joanna, A Dog's Tail's Head Trainer and Owner. Dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. My inspiration started with my beloved Golden Labrador, Bailey, who stood by my side through my toughest times, including my fight with cancer. Bailey’s support and loyalty during my recovery became the heart of my brand, inspiring the A Dog's Tail logo.
Afterwards, I welcomed Star, a resilient Romanian rescue dog, into my life. Training and bonding with Star deepened my commitment to helping other dogs and owners build strong, positive connections. Together, Bailey and Star inspired me to dedicate my life to understanding and teaching dog behaviour, to make training accessible, enjoyable, and effective for everyone.
Today, my mission is to work closely with dog owners to create meaningful, lasting bonds with their pets and to nurture confident, happy dogs. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to strengthen your relationship with your pup, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Hello! I'm Abi, Head Groomer at A Dog's Tail. My journey here has been shaped by my love for dogs, especially my own black lab, Ed—though most people know him as Dobbie! Dobbie is my loyal companion, always by my side and reminding me every day why I love working with dogs.
Dobbie’s care and happiness are incredibly important to me, and that’s the standard I bring to every dog I groom at A Dog's Tail. From grooming puppies to pampering senior dogs, I take pride in creating a calm, caring environment where every dog feels comfortable, safe, and just a little bit spoiled. Whether it’s a soothing bath, a fresh trim, or a full spa treatment, I tailor each session to make sure your dog feels relaxed and pampered, just like they would at home.
For me, grooming is about more than just a fresh coat—it's about building trust and creating a positive experience for your dog. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and seeing them leave happy, confident, and wagging their tails!
