Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Joanna, the owner and Head Trainer of A-Dogs-Tail. I have the pleasure of owning a beautiful Golden Labrador who is my inspiration (and the logo feature) of A-Dogs-Tail. He was my reason for beating cancer when on end of life care with 6 weeks to live. I also have a Romanian rescue dog who was used as a bait dog and she taught me valuable skills in training and the behaviour of dogs. Both my dogs were ultimately the reason I became a dog trainer and behaviourist.

I am passionate about making training easy to understand and fun to participate in – all whilst delivering great results! Pet Owners come to me with all sorts of training challenges, and I work closely with them to create a focused and confident dog and develop a rewarding life-long bond.
